Well, I'm back from a wonderful vacation in Colorado. I visited my sister. Got to play with my four-pawed nephew, Oscar. He's a love. But what I really want to tell you about is a new poetry book by my friend Elizabeth Mariani. She is one of Buffalo, NY's premier poets. Her book is entitled Imaginary Poems For My Imaginary Girlfriend Named Anabel. Mariani has a gift. She understands the world and the human condition. She sees the truth in life and she puts it in her poems. Indeed, her understanding of the world and the human condition is amazing. She is not afraid to say what needs to be said. This book belongs on every poetry lover's bookshelf. Check out www.lizmariani.com to learn more.

Howdy Ho, Everyone. I hope you are enjoying the summer. We are having a great one here in Buffalo. Lots of nice weather. Lots of concerts. Lots of festivals. And lots of fun times. I just finished a songwriting workshop that was overseen by Ms. Alison Pipitone. Wrote 4 new songs. Met some new people who are also amazing songwriters. We are going to showcase our songs on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Sportsmen's Tavern at 9 p.m. You can learn more about it on my Events page. That's all for now! Talk to you soon.

Exciting news! I am in the national magazine CURVE this month. I did an interview with them. It's in the book section. Also, CURVE reviewed The Alison Pipitone Band's latest CD "Tigerbabies.". Those of you who know me know that Alison is my favorite singer/songerwriter and, I am honored to say, she is also a friend. You can pick up the magazine at newstands nationwide. The lovely Dani Campbell is on the cover. You can also learn more about the magazine by clicking Here.

2008 is here and yes, as usual, I'm busy! I'm back in school for my second semester. My two classes are Intro To Computer Systems and Intro to Web Design. They are both exciting and I'm having a great time with them. I'm still playing guitar and writing songs. And I am rehearsing again so I can hit some of Buffalo's open mics. Of course, still writing too. I'm working on my next book, tenatively titled "Loving Kyle." And last but not least, the N.T. History Museum has put out its "North Tonawanda: The Lumber City" history book. You can find my contribution to the book on page 177. It's entitled "The Riviera Story." The book is on sale at the museum.nthistorymuseum

Christmas is almost here. Just 7 days away. If you celebrate the holiday, I wish you a happy and joyous time. The winner of the N.T. History Museum contest featuring yours truly was announced. He is Mr. Bill Baronich. He won a coffee date with me and I will set it up with him after the New Year. I finished my first semester at college and am happy to say I passed. Yahoo!!! I had to do a final project for one of my classes that required me to set up a blog. It's called Want to Visit London? Click here to view it.
